How long do the Black Berkey Purification Elements last?

Each pair of Black Berkey Purification Elements is designed to last for up to 6,000 gallons of water before needing replacement, depending on the quality of your source water.

What is your shipping policy for new systems?

We offer free standard shipping on all Berkey systems within the contiguous United States. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days and delivered within 3-7 business days.

Can I return my Berkey if I am not satisfied?

Yes, we offer a 30-day return policy for unused and unassembled products in their original packaging. Please contact our support team to initiate a return authorization.

Does the Berkey system remove fluoride?

While the standard Black Berkey elements remove a wide range of contaminants, we recommend adding PF-2 Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements to your system if you specifically wish to target fluoride removal.

How do I know when it is time to clean my filters?

If you notice a significant decrease in the flow rate of your system, it is likely time to scrub the exterior of your Black Berkey elements with a non-scratch pad and re-prime them.
